Hey, I'm Lisa

Are you someone who can't resist cravings for particular foods?

Are you ok during the day, or in the week, when you are busy. But come the evening or the weekend your eating goes to pot?

Do you believe you have no willpower?

I'm Lisa Unger, and I do know one thing for sure. Dieting rarely works long term. 

Too often, we are taken in by dieting promises. We do lose weight to begin with, but the strict regimes are impossible to keep to long term. The weight creeps back on (or goes on with speed), and before we know it we are back where we started or even heavier.

This is no way to live, and I should know, I've been there. I was 5 ½ stone over weight. I tried every diet there was, low fat, low carb, calorie counting… you name it, I’ve tried it. I even had injections, I was so desperate to lose weight. And I did, every diet I went on I lost weight. But every time I broke it, I’d put that weight on plus more. Dieting took over my life. I got to the point I couldn’t face another unsuccessful diet, and I had to find another way to eat that was healthy, sustainable, but also meant I could still eat the food I love.

I did lose the weight, and I have kept if off for over 20 years. And you can do the same.

I will teach you how to eat in a way that allows you to eat all food - no food will be banned. Together we will make a step by step plan, personal to you and that fits in with the way you live your life.

My favourite Sunday activity is taking the dogs on a long walk and stopping for a pub lunch.

I love all food, cooking it, experimenting with it, and especially eating it. I love entertaining family and friends.

I enjoy painting, sewing tapestries and reading crime thrillers.

I love travelling. My favourite place in the world to visit was New Zealand.

I could restrict myself really well, or eat everything in site. In 3 months I have become more aware of my behaviours and why I am doing them. I have learnt relaxation techniques to help me reduce them. I have less cravings as I am eating foods that keep me full. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa. She makes everything personal to you which really gives you confidence.
